I was recently asked by a new patient if there was a way to view some of our recent segments on WKYC/channel 3’s “Golden Opportunities.” She said that she had “discovered” us by watching the show last week and appreciated that we were giving out education in dentistry that could not be found anywhere else on television. She wanted to learn more than she had gotten on that one segment.
Last week, we were featured on a segment of WKYC’s morning program ‘Good Company.’ Dr. Marsh sat down with Joe Cronauer to discuss our passion for those in the teaching profession, and our passion for helping our patients achieve the perfect smile. You can watch our segment in the video window below. Be sure to head over to Cleveland Smiles on Facebook to let us know what you think, or contact us if you would like to learn more about improving your smile this holiday season.
This Wednesday, December 14, be sure to set your DVR to record WKYC Channel 3’s ‘Good Company’ at 10am. We will be on the program to share some of our great cosmetic dentistry procedures. In the meantime, watch this video from our last ‘Good Company’ appearance in November. Dr. Marsh talks with host Joe Cronauer about how we conduct a perfect smile makeover, just as we did for patient/friend/and ‘Good Company’ co-host Fred Griffith.
Our new bi-monthly e-mail contests, created by our office manager Afsaneh, have proven to be very popular. When we let you know about our WKYC-TV “Golden Opportunity” appearances, Afsaneh includes a quotation that our e-mail recipients are asked to identify; the first three people (after all, the show is on channel 3 in Cleveland) who guess the origin correctly receive a $10 Starbucks card. Among our first winners, Sheila H. exclaimed that it was “the first time I’ve ever won anything!!!” We congratulate her and the other winners.
Speaking of Starbucks, we are thanking those of you who refer patients to our office with a $25 gift card. Beyond the card, I should let you know that referrals to your family, friends, and colleagues are extremely gratifying to all of us, as you are making us one of the top dentists in Cleveland! Thanks again for all of your support.
A quick reminder to be sure to tune into WKYC Channel 3’s ‘Golden Opportunities‘ this Sunday morning at 11:30 am. We will be discussing little changes to your dental care that can make a BIG difference. We hope you enjoy it! Be sure to let us know what you think: leave a comment here, on the Cleveland Smiles Facebook page, or on Twitter at @ClevelandSmiles.
If you missed the segment, check back here soon, we will be posting it on our website.
We’ve received some nice feedback on our newsletter (where we highlighted our blogs). We would welcome any thoughts on topics we might cover here or in future newsletters on our office and your Cleveland dental care.
An item we mentioned in “Smile Update” was our new flatscreen monitors in the treatment and reception rooms. They are DVD capable, so we are able to watch anything from dental techniques, which we have shown on NBC/Channel 3’s “Golden Opportunities,”“Good Company,” and their brand-new Saturday morning show “It’s About You!” to movies and TV shows for longer appointments. Just let us know what you would like to watch!
Please tune in to WKYC-NBC/channel 3’s “Golden Opportunities” on Sunday morning, May 8th at 11:30 am to watch “Mother’s Day Dental Makeovers” featuring a number of our patients.
Host Armond Budish (who also happens to be Minority Speaker of the House in Ohio) reviews some of the dental techniques that we use in our office to change our patients’ smiles – and their lives! I had the opportunity to review techniques like porcelain veneers, ceramic crowns, and tooth-colored fillings and how they can be utilized to remake your smile and achieve dental health.
If there are topics you’d like to see featured on the show, or on our blog at www.ClevelandSmiles.com, please give our office a call at 1-440-461-1003.
We love our new Navigator laser. Wendy and I just spent time at the Ivolclar company in Buffalo getting advanced training on it and are even more thrilled with the opportunities with it; from gum contouring to help with painless canker sore removal. For more on how the Navigator laser, watch our appearance on WKYC’s “Good Company” in the video window below. Please ask us how it can be used in your dental care!
Last week we were visited by WKYC “Good Company” Channel 3 reporter Joe Cronauer, who asked us to feature some of the newest techniques in dentistry (watch the segment in the video window below). I showed Joe our latest purchase, the Odyssey Navigator Intraoral Laser, which can be used for gum contouring, removal of some oral lesions, and even treatment of canker sores. The laser is portable and often can be used even without “Novacaine!” If you’d like to see it or how it can help you, please let a member of our staff here know, and we’ll be glad to show you.
We also demonstrated our Cadent Itero digital impression technique for Mr. Cronauer. He was amazed at the accuracy and comfort of the procedure which eliminates the goopy impression material. He said he couldn’t wait to share the concept with his WKYC family, as well as his own family. Please share it with yours!!
