Reverse the effects of Novacaine with Oraverse

Monday, August 16th, 2010

In July, my wife Wendy and I had the opportunity to visit with the CEO of Oraverse, the dental product that reverses the effects of Novacaine.  She was impressed that we have made it a part of our everyday practice as an option for our patients.  Additionally, she was able to see the news segment produced by Cleveland’s WKYC channel 3 that featured our office’s use of Oraverse, Skype, and the Itero Digital Imaging System, as it was picked up nationally by both NBC affiliates and YouTube!

Our 30th Anniversary

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

This Labor Day, I will celebrate my 30th anniversary in my private dental practice. This gives me a chance to thank all of you for your loyalty and support by both staying with me and by your referrals of colleagues, friends, and family.  I also want to thank my staff for their help in treating our patients to wonderful care; Shirley has been with me on Saturdays for nearly thirty years and Marilyn has assisted me for twenty-four years.  The remainder of our group, including Afsaneh, Karin, Amy, and Barbara have all been with us for nearly five years. That is a great achievement and the primarly reason we are all on the same page in delivering professional and personal care.

I also want to thank my wife Wendy, with whom I just celebrated our 33rd anniversary. We graduated from The Ohio State University schools of dentistry and dental hygiene, respectively, in June of 1977.  She was my only assistant/employee when we started our practice in September, 1980, and she still comes in and helps whenever and wherever she can.  I am, indeed, a very lucky man!

Get your routine dental checkup before they go back to school

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

As we begin August, it’s always a good reminder to have your children or grandchildren visit our Cleveland dental office for their routine dental check up while they still have some free time before cheerleading, football and other activities begin. Routine dental check ups are not only more convenient for your schedule during the summer, but getting them sooner than later can help avoid pain and discomfort if cavities or other issues are found. Also, please let us know if you have any special needs or would like to schedule a cosmetic dental procedure or teeth whitening so that we can accommodate!

Speaking of sports, I should take a moment to remind you that we do make custom mouth guards to protect your child’s teeth while they’re on the field and in the gym. Our custom mouth guards can even be made in the colors of their respective schools and teams! (We made plenty of them over the years, including those made for Cleveland’s professional indoor soccer teams, The Cleveland Force and the Cleveland Crunch).
